Showing graphic violence in films is a three-dimensional thing which is consisting of viewers, scriptwriters, and filmmakers. As a scriptwriter, you have to convince the viewers how violence becomes a necessity, who deserves it and who has a right to act violent, and who has not. Ancient Greek tragedies storylines are based on the sin and punishment aspect. Greek tragedians were establishing their dramas on the attitude of the people of Athens and how they should not forget their place in mythical gods view. They must always remember that they are mortals otherwise goddess Nemesis will punish them and she has the right to do who deserves punishment. These are the first dramatic storytelling example of creating good & bad and who deserve legitimate punishment and violence. Nemesis.
